Who is a Newborn and Baby Session for?
My Newborn & Baby photography in Norwich Sessions are crafted for families with a baby from newborn to 1 year old.
This session has a strong focus on baby + baby & parents. Siblings? Bring them along! I’ll take some images of them with baby to capture this precious relationship that’s slowly unfolding.
If you are looking for a session that captures all families interactions (older siblings together, older siblings alone, parents alone or family as a whole), please reserve a Family Session instead.

When to Book Your Norwich Newborn Photography Session
If you wish to capture your baby’s first few days of life, please do get in touch as soon as possible during your pregnancy - ideally around your 20 week scan.
My availability is limited, and this will allow us to reserve a shoot slot around your due date (don’t worry, we can move the shoot forward if your baby hasn’t joined you earthside by then!)

I get it. Newborn baby shoots can feel a little intimidating (and you’re probably wondering if your baby is going to sleep through the entire thing — don’t worry, I’ve got that covered too). Here’s the rundown of what you can expect during our time together:
Relaxed vibes: We’ll go at a pace that suits your baby — sleepy snuggles, awake giggles, or everything in between. No rush. No stress. Just pure, relaxed fun.
Plenty of cuddles and milk breaks: Whether we’re indoors or outside, we’ll take our time to capture those little fingers, those tiny feet, and all the other impossibly cute details you want to remember forever. And don’t worry if your baby needs a break — we’ll take it slow and make sure everyone’s comfortable. I’m here for the long haul (and a couple of snack breaks if needed!).
Authenticity first: If you’re wanting your newborn captured as they are, rather than dressed up as a bunny rabbit in a picnic basket, I’m your photographer. I want the poetically authentic. I want to capture the real dressed in love, soft light, and emotion.

At Home: Let’s be honest: no one really wants to leave the house when there’s a newborn involved. So why not let me come to you? We’ll turn your living room, nursery, or even your kitchen into the perfect backdrop for those tender moments that only happen in your personal haven. Think heating on, soft blankets and cuddles in bed.
And don’t worry - you won’t need to deep-clean the house beforehand. I will move things around if needed and create the perfect corners for our magic to unfold.
Outdoors: Feeling a bit more adventurous? Let’s take it outside! Whether it’s a sun-dappled field, a beach, or a dense meadow where the sun peeks through the trees just perfectly, the outdoors brings a whole new level of magic.
Pro Tip: Just don’t forget the snacks. For you. (The baby’s probably fine.)
